Six Word Memoirs

I finished the book Not Quite What I Was Planning; Six Word Memoirs by Writers Famous and Obscure, edited by Larry Smith and Rachel Fershleiser, a couple of days ago, and have been determined to come up with one of my own ever since. So when Melissa tagged me for the 6 word memoir meme, her timing was perfect, and I already had a couple to select from. I thoroughly enjoyed the book, by the way, and was surprised at the range of six word comments submitted to the collection- from funny to thoughtful to quite sad.
