Fun in the Sun

We've all been feeling a little blue around here between cold and cloudy days and the flu bug that everyone seems to be picking up, so when we found out that the stake would be sponsoring the February youth dance, "Fun in the Sun" sounded like exactly what was needed. The decorations and refreshments turned out great- what could be better than relaxing under some palm trees with some pineapple and a tropical drink with an umbrella in it when it's snowing outside? And to get everyone dancing, we got all the youth to leave the cultural hall (for a congo line around the building) and covered the dance floor with bubble wrap. When they came back in, it sounded like a giant thunderstorm- it's pretty rare that all the youth are dancing at the same time, but this certainly did the trick! Thanks to Christy for the idea- it was definitely a big hit.
