Snow Day

Okay- I officially feel like an idiot this morning! My alarm rang early this morning, I dragged getting out of bed as long as I possibly could, then rushed around like a madwoman to be ready to leave to get to school for my 7:30 class. On the way out the door, I noticed that it had snowed last night, and my only thought was that it was going to take forever to clean off my car and I would be pushing it to get there on time. When I started the car, the radio came on saying that the public schools are cancelled- I called the university line on the off chance that our classes were cancelled too, and snow day it is! So... I'm back inside where it's MUCH warmer, I'm going to curl up on the couch with a good book (I just started The Road, by Cormac McCarthy) and some hot chocolate, and then I may make waffles for breakfast (as opposed to an orange scarfed down between lab sections). And tomorrow, I'll look out the window and turn on the radio BEFORE I get ready!
